PANJ represents our members at the New Jersey
Legislature. We have initiated legislation that will benefit
both our members and the general public. PANJ advocates
for changes in other legislation that affects our members
and the way that they are organized. To this end, PANJ utilizes
the services of Princeton Public Affairs Group, a public
affairs counsel. They provide us with access to key members
of the legislature and the government, who make decisions.
In this way, the voices of our members are heard at the
highest levels. We can point to language in the law that
we advocated for, and we know sections of other legislation
that never made it into the Legislature for a vote, because
of our efforts.
PANJ has contacted all the legislators who
voted for S 950 and A 1448 to advise them of the Judiciary's
response to their law. PANJ's Press Release.
The PANJ Legislative Committee is in charge
of our efforts in this area. The Chairman is Stuart
Martinsen.
